COLZER 50 Pint Dehumidifier: Main Features and Benefits
- The COLZER 50 Pint is a powerful, super effective and low consumption compressor dehumidifier. With it you’ll be able to control the humidity level in your rooms, get a healthier environment and avoid the water condensation on windows, walls and ceramic tiles. Plus, it helps to reduce the allergies since it gets rid of many allergens and allergy triggers, such as mold and dust mites.
- It’ll be able to absorb up to 50 Pints (23L) per day in rooms with humidity levels as high as 90% so it’s a great option to keep dry large rooms up to 3500 sq. ft (325 sq. m), either bedroom, living-room, walking closet, kitchen, bathroom, basement, garage, studio, office and workroom. This is really good considering the price!
- The water absorbed from the environment is stored in a 0.66Gal / 2.5L water-bucket which can be easily emptied by two different ways: manually or via gravity with the hose included in the package. If you choose the manual-empty you’ll be able to pull out the bucket (which usually weighs about 7 lbs (3kg) when it’s full) effortlessly to be emptied in a nearby drainage. Moreover, if you attach the unit with the 6.56 ft (2 m) length hose included in the package, the bucket can be emptied in a drain floor continuously. Easy and quick!
- The COLZER HD08C Dehumidifier let you set a target humidity level in your rooms between 30% and 80%RH in 5% increments just tapping a button from the digital panel located on top on the unit.
- What about the modes? Well, it has 3 interesting, powerful and useful modes: DEHU, DRY and CONT. The DEHU mode, which means Dehumidify let you set a target humidity level, choose the fan speed you want between High and Low speed, and also uses the smart function with auto-ON and auto-OFF maintaining the room humidity target level within the range of ±3% of the set point. In the Laundry mode (DRY), the dehumidifier will run continuously at high fan speed which is really helpful to dry your clothes hanging in the room during winter as well as keeping them odor-free. In the Continuous mode (CONT) the unit will run continuously until the water bucket is full (when this mode is running would be really helpful to have the drain hose attached to the unit).
- This COLZER dehumidifier is safe and anti-water spill due to it has an auto-shut off when the tank is full, so do not have to worry about it if you’re not at home! That’s a relief, right? Plus, it has an auto-defrost function when it’s running at low temperature (the lowest operation temperature is 41°F (5°C)) and auto-restart function if the dehumidifier shuts off unexpectedly due to power outage. - You can choose the fan speed, either High or Low, but only with the DEHU and CONT mode, whereas in the DRY mode it’ll run at high speed.
